I am spending a semester in Spain, and I want to use this blog to let my friends and family back home know what I am up to. I intend to look back years from now and remember what my Spanish experience was like by reading this journal. I'm glad that you are taking the time to update about my life, and I hope that my writing makes you laugh, creates revelation, and gives you an insight into what it's like to be a stranger immersed in a foreign culture.
In a little over a week, I will be on a plane flying to Alicante, which is on the Mediterranean coast near Barcelona. I will be there for 4 1/2 months before returning to home-sweet-home for a few months in the summer. I hope to see you then!
